Mercury Prize-winning British composer, pianist, singer-songwriter and filmmaker Benjamin Clementine makes his Australian debut this October.
Stripped of unnecessary production, "Back to Basics" places the focus on the precision of his musicianship and the rare presence that has made him one of the most compelling live performers of his generation. His concerts unfold as conversations rather than spectacles — silence carries as much weight as sound, and every performance develops its own character.
Born in London and artistically shaped in Paris, Clementine rose to prominence with his 2015 Mercury Prize-winning debut album, At Least for Now. The tour arrives alongside his latest single, "Pizza Mind."

All concerts at Fremantle Arts Centre are wheelchair accessible, with two ACROD bays on Finnerty Street and drop-off/pick-up at the main entry gate. Contact the venue ahead of the show if you need to arrange anything specific.
GETTING THERE
Fremantle Arts Centre is well-served by Transperth buses, with regular services from Fremantle Train Station to stops within walking distance of the venue. Limited free parking is available on Finnerty Street, Ord Street and Vale Street, with paid parking at Fremantle Leisure Centre opposite the venue.
